  • Student/Staff Data: Data uploaded by clients during trial or active periods. (Note: ZylixSoft does not own this data; we process it on behalf of the institution).
  • Facebook / Meta Platform Data: When you connect your Facebook Page, Instagram Account, or WhatsApp Business Account to our platform, we may collect:
    • Facebook Page ID, Page Name, and Access Tokens
    • Instagram Business Account ID and profile information
    • WhatsApp Business Phone Number and profile details
    • Messages, comments, and interactions sent via Facebook Messenger or Instagram DMs through our platform
    • Basic profile information of users who interact with your connected pages (name, profile picture, user ID — as permitted by Meta)
  • OAuth Data: When you log in using Facebook Login for Business, we receive basic profile data (name, email, profile picture) and the permissions you explicitly grant us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our software services.
  • Improve, personalize, and expand our website and products.
  • Understand and analyze how you use our software.
  • Communicate with you for customer service, updates, and marketing.
  • Process transactions and manage billing.
  • Enable chat automation features via Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs, and WhatsApp Business API on behalf of our users.
  • Send automated responses, broadcasts, and sequences through connected Meta platforms as configured by you.
  • We do NOT use Meta platform data to:

    • Build user profiles beyond what is needed to operate our service

4. Facebook / Meta Platform Policy Compliance

ZylixSoft uses the Meta (Facebook) Platform APIs, including the Messenger API, Instagram Graph API, WhatsApp Business API, and Facebook Login for Business. By connecting your Meta accounts to our platform, you authorize us to access and use data as permitted by your granted permissions.

  • We comply with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
  • Data obtained through Meta APIs is used only to provide and improve the services you have requested.
  • We do not store Facebook user messages longer than necessary to deliver our automation services.
  • Access tokens are stored securely and encrypted at rest.
  • We request only the minimum permissions necessary to operate our features.
  • You can revoke our access to your Facebook/Instagram account at any time via your Facebook App Settings.

5. Data Deletion — Your Right to Erasure

In compliance with Meta's Platform Policy, we provide a Data Deletion mechanism. If you wish to delete all data associated with your Facebook account from our systems, you may do so in either of the following ways:

Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete all personal data linked to your account, including Facebook Page tokens, message logs, and automation configurations.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All sensitive information is encrypted during transmission (SSL/TLS) and at rest. Access tokens obtained from Meta platforms are stored in encrypted format and are never exposed publicly. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services (e.g., Payment Gateways, SMS Providers, Meta/Facebook APIs, WhatsApp Business API) to facilitate our services. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
